As spring arrives, the Juyongguan Great Wall in Beijing is surrounded by blooming spring flowers. The S2 train shuttles through it, creating a dreamlike experience. Let’s embark on a romantic flower viewing journey!

Best Flower Viewing Time: From late March to early April, the peach blossoms and apricot blossoms are in full bloom along the Juyongguan Great Wall. It’s the perfect opportunity to admire and capture the “Train to Spring” experience.

Meeting Point: Gather in the international arrivals area of Beijing Capital International Airport in the morning. Chartered transportation to Huangtudian Station in Changping District, Beijing, on the S2 line. Embark on a day trip by taking the S2 train, with a total distance of 108.3 kilometers and stops at Huangtudian, Nankou, Badaling, Yanqing, Kangzhuang, and Shacheng stations. The best photography moment is when the train emerges from a tunnel.

Attraction: Juyongguan Great Wall Flower Sea Trail – This is a popular spot to view the train and the flower sea. The trail has multiple observation decks, with the 2nd deck providing a great perspective despite being crowded, and the 3rd deck being larger with excellent scenery. From the trail, you can closely observe the train passing through the flower sea, creating picturesque scenes of people and landscapes.

Public transportation: Take the S2 suburban railway to Nankou Station, then transfer to bus routes 879, 919, or Chang20 to Juyongguan Great Wall Bus Station or Juyongguan Village Bus Station. From there, follow the navigation and walk approximately 1.1 to 2 kilometers to reach the destination.

• Juyongguan Great Wall: Climb up the Juyongguan Great Wall and overlook from enemy towers 2 to 5. You can capture stunning images of the train passing through the flower sea, as well as capturing beautiful S-shaped turns and train crossings. Due to strong winds on the Great Wall, it is advised to bring warm clothing.

Lunch: Near Juyongguan, you can choose to taste local farmhouse dishes at nearby rural restaurants, such as stewed chicken and folded eggs, to experience countryside cuisine.

• Afternoon: Visit the Juyongguan Great Wall Flower Sea Trail or continue exploring the Great Wall to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery where flowers and trains intertwine. Take photos and make memories.

Return: Charter transportation to downtown hotels or directly back to the departure area of Beijing Capital International Airport.
